Dear Milton:

This is just a line to catch this steamer. Many thanks for your letter. It is good news that there will be money forthcoming. As for the estate, there is nothing about that for it went out of probate eight months ago, so you can send the check to me here.

I will still hope for an oil field! I always like to have one white chip on the zero and it seems to me that six and a quarter is just about that chance!

I am damn glad to hear your health is still on the "up and up". May the new year bring you complete recovery -- and all the other luck you wish for!
