My dear Madden:

I received a reply from my last letter to Tyler today. I quote: "You can bet I'll read "The Straw" and just as soon as Madden gives it to me". With this inducement, I would surely advise that you get a script in his hands immediately, if you have not already done so. He also promises a decision by the first part of next week.

Am anxiously waiting to hear which way Williams is going to hop this time. He's a grand little jumper and I'm keenly curious to see what he'll elect to do.
