Part 1, Act 3  (23:06)  Dining room of the Evans' homestead in northern New York state -- late spring of the next year.  Morning.

Part 1, Act 4  (23:27)  The same as Acts 1 and 2. Fall of the same year.  Evening.

Part 1, Act 5  (20:42)  Sitting room of small house Evans has rented in a seashore suburb near New York.  The following April.  Morning.

Part 2, Act 6  (24:37)  The same.  A little over a year later.  Evening.

Part 2, Act 7  (19:11)  Sitting room of the Evans' apartment on Park Avenue.  Nearly eleven years later.  Early afternoon.

Part 2, Act 8  (23:38)  Section of afterdeck of the Evans' cruiser anchored near the finish line at Poughkeepsie.  Ten years later.  Afternoon.

Part 2, Act 9  (21:24)  A terrace on the Evans' estate on Long Island.  Several months later.  Late afternoon.
