Eugene O'Neill Recordings

Below is an excerpt of a 1941 recording of O'Neill speaking Edmund's words from Long Day's Journey Into Night (Act IV). Also included is a segment from the June 1, 1996 National Public Radio broadcast of "All Things Considered" explaining the origins of the recording. The program includes additional excerpts from the recording, as well as a recording of "Rosie" -- O'Neill's player piano.
